Parking in Matera
The parking lots are located in many areas of the city.
Choose the one that best suits your needs.
Near the historic center, there are also many paid unguarded parking lots (blue stripes), which can be used directly at the parking meter or through an app.
How to use the map
The parking map allows you to find the best parking spot.
Simply click on the crosshair icon next to the search bar and, if requested, give consent for geolocation.
You will then have a list of parking spots from the closest to the farthest, with distances indicated.
At this point, just click on the desired parking spot to have it shown on the map.
The "directions" button will show you the best route from your current location to the desired parking spot.
