The deadline for submitting an application for the "FRI-Tur" revolving fund, included in the PNRR Turismo, has been extended until 12:00 on Thursday 20 April.
This fund aims to improve hospitality services and enhance accommodation facilities, with particular attention to digitization and environmental sustainability.
The Ministry of Tourism promotes the incentive, which is managed by Invitalia and has a budget of 1 billion and 380 million euros.
The deadline has been moved forward due to the enormous success of the initiative: the applications presented so far have shown that the enhancement of tourism activities can generate extraordinary and driving results for the national economy.
The FRI-Tur finances energy requalification interventions, elimination of architectural barriers, restoration and conservative rehabilitation, digitization and purchase or renewal of furnishings, among others.
The accommodation facilities concerned, such as hotels, agritourisms, bathing establishments and spas, open-air structures, marinas, companies in the trade fair and congress sector, can find the documentation necessary to forward the request on the Invitalia website.
