Once upon a time there was a little mouse named Martina who lived in the Sassi of Matera, an ancient city full of history.
Martina loved to explore every corner of the Sassi, but there was one cave in particular that interested her very much: the treasure cave. Legend had it that in that cave there was a treasure hidden for centuries.
Martina decided to go in search of the treasure, but she wasn't alone. Her brave friend, a little mouse named Ginevra, decided to accompany her. Together, the two mice set off towards the treasure cave.
Arriving at the cave, Martina and Ginevra began to dig and search for the treasure.
After hours of searching, they finally found an old chest full of gold and jewels. Martina and Ginevra were very happy to have found the treasure, but they decided to share it with all their friends in the Sassi.
Together, Martina, Ginevra, and the other mice built a playground with the gold and jewels from the treasure. All the children of the Sassi could have fun and play together, and Martina and Ginevra became the heroines of the city.
From that day on, the children of the Sassi told the story of Martina and Ginevra, the brave little mice who had found the treasure and shared it with everyone. And the treasure cave became a place of fun and joy for all.
